"The advent in this century of unparalleled scientific progress has caused many to turn to materialism for solutions to problems formerly sought upon the altar of God. Others, even men of science, have turned toward the ancient pinnacles of religion for the sacred key to Man’s God Destiny.
"Now, the birth of science did not occur, as some think, through man’s outer search for the causes behind appearances of Nature; on the contrary, it originated within the very central idea of Man’s true Divinity. Hence, science was born of God, not of human reason and experiment, and, in a very real sense, scientific research is a reflection of Man’s spiritual search.
