"I
AM urging all who will to expand the Kingdom of God upon Earth
and to assist My Son and the Hierarchy of Heaven this year and
in time to come.
This can be done if you will determine:
1) never to submit to discouragement or
feelings of lack, 2) never to submit to a state
of consciousness wherein you seek to find fault with others
for your own shortcomings,
and 3) ever to hold completely with the Harmony of Heaven."—Mother

of pride that lords it

The key to the next attainment is the most difficult step on the path.

Not a flattering opinion, but I prefer the austerity of the Spirit's drive."

"Perhaps you have noticed on a number of occasions that by
your words and actions you may have caused some great grief and
burden. You may have brought in the dark clouds through negativity,
pessimism, criticism, barking and clamoring and having your way.
And on another occasion, by doing what you know so well how to
do, everyone has come away feeling good, feeling satisfied, feeling
equally loved and equally important, and enjoying supremely a
soul-satisfying evening or experience together. Thus, you
see, the carnal mind takes pride in itself, in its ability to
control and hurt and put down and best another, and to rise and
puff up as the puffing up of the snake.
"Yes, you can do these things, but I admonish
you to choose not to do them—to not attempt to be the most
important person in the room or the one who wins all the arguments
or makes all the brilliant points. Far better to go within the
heart, send love to each one, and encourage by your conversation
some precious point of wisdom or expression to be forthcoming
from another because you make it easy, you provide a point of
relaxation and warmth. And someone who perhaps has had a much
harder life than you, who has been silenced perhaps by great darkness
through loved ones, can finally feel at home and free to speak
without being criticized.
"Beloved ones, assume that those who come
to you are injured and maimed and scarred, for they are. They
have been in many battles of life. If you find them ornery or
thick-skinned, this is a defense mechanism they have set up for
a very deep hurt. Heal the hurt, not in such an obvious manner
as self-proclaiming oneself as the healer—'Now I am going
to do this for you, now I am going to do that for you'—but
simply do it in the quietness of your heart. Learn to pray for
people and not to prey upon them. [applause]
"It is true, beloved ones. Much of the hurt,
much of the cruelty expressed in the world today is the means
of the individual wrapping up again and again that old wound,
that sharpness. And thus, it becomes a very important point of
the Law to apply to Almighty God for the healing of one’s
soul of the need to be aggressive toward any part of life.
"You see, mortals have these needs,
humans may have them; for both are without the divine spark. But
the sons and daughters of God, the children of the Light have no
need to partake in the world’s fare of psychology, just as
you do not partake of the food that is served in some quarters.
You have long ago transcended the need for that type of intake.
"Much of the cause of your failure of many
tests is that you have not stopped to rid yourself of the human
habit to express that aggravation, that arrogance—all coming
from the need of the carnal mind to assert itself. It is not real!
It has no power to dominate your personality! I speak directly
to you, and all of you know whereof I speak! And I tell you: the
promise of your ascension will never be compromised by me, but
it can be compromised by your free will!
"You must listen to me. There is a need
to change by the will of the heart, by a heart that loves enough
to change because others are still suffering from a dishonest
expression that you periodically give vent to—dishonest
because it does not praise God in the individual, it does not
rejoice in his overcoming but still retains that defiance that
will put down another.
"Beloved hearts, I will stand, and I will
stand for eternity, to champion your soul’s path of victory
and the ascension. Many of you who find yourselves in a precarious
situation through your dalliance with the carnal mind may this
day shed it in this heart and in my heart. For my heart is great
enough, as the heart of God, to consume it all."

"The students of the manifold religions of the world—in
their individual responses to the divine voice calling within
their own hearts—have made an attempt to develop the heavenly
attributes in their own lives only to find that their 'spirit
of competition' in defense of their own particular ideology has
intruded a discordant note of such proportions as to malign the
entire image and permeate their feeling worlds with such sinister
outpourings of hatred and projected discord as to confuse the
youth of the world and thus strike a blow against the real God-ideals
of life, which contain the best hope of mankind.
"The character of the Christ is the sometimes
moot point of study on which men must concentrate, recognizing
that the effects of the historical Jesus and other great masters
are of little importance so far as they personally are concerned
unless they do succeed in bringing into their own worlds, minds
and affairs the God-powers which the great masters have always
possessed yet have not always displayed to the eyes of the world.
"Confusion in religion is but a reflection
of the distorted image composed of minute parts of the inflowing
knowledge which men consciously retain but seldom assimilate and
draw from either one or many diverse sources—which, although
often sincere, are in themselves either incomplete or suffering
from error in some of their basic or secondary ideas about God
and the universal law. Confusion, then, symbolizes incompleteness
or inaccuracy and should spur the sincere to ever new heights!"

"Sensing the human aura as a star, man gains his victory
as he sees the universe flooded with stars of varying intensity.
By comparison his own auric light glows more brightly, for the
fires of competition fan the flame of aspiration.
"But all at once he staggers with the realization
that he is in competition with no one, for the incomparable mystery
of his own exquisite being is revealed at last. Questioning and
doubts as to the purpose of life no longer engage his mind, for
all answers are born in the ritual of becoming. The fascination
of truth envelops him, and he weans himself from the old and familiar
concepts that have stifled the glow of perpetual hope within his
soul.
"He is concerned now that others
shall also share in this great energy source of reality flowing
forth from on high. Naught can transpire with his consent that
God does not will, for the will of God and the will of man are
become one.
"When each man consents to this victory, the struggle lessens
and then is no more, for faith in the fatherhood of God reconciles
men through Christ to the fountainhead of their eternal purpose.
The glow of a new hope, infusing all, lends direction to the expansion
of the auric light. The forcefield is magnified, and in the magnification
thereof the star of the man who has become one with God shines
on the planes of pure being as the angels rejoice."

"The family of nations as a divine ideal is no more difficult
to comprehend as an idea than a community spirit or the love of
one's country. As you ascend the pyramid called life, you find
fewer stones at each level and but one at the top—the capstone!
Yet, as you ascend, dear ones, your spiritual understanding of
all substance descends from above to multiply your knowledge and
power which increases your dominion over the 'footstool kingdom.'
The greater the number who accept divine ideas, the greater amplification
of these pure spiritual principles occurs; the more amplification,
the stronger the universal bond of understanding between nation
and nation or man and man.
"To replace narrowness by expansion, one
must increase his understanding of universality. Rightly understood,
the concept of unity in diversity is harmonious and beneficial.
Rivalry and competition must give place to a spirit of excellence
which seeks to draw forth from the Father above every facet possible
of the wonderful divine plan.
"The Aquarian age is one of absolute cooperation between
God and the ascended master, the ascended masters and man, and
between people everywhere.
"The symbol of Aquarius—a water
carrier with balanced urns—reveals harmonious service and
bountiful supply! This rhythmic spirit of cooperation must be
the basis of every relationship, replacing outworn selfishness.
" . . . No man is ever truly defrauded except by himself,
albeit many are easily influenced by others and have not yet learned
self-dependence which is only correct as it ties into or connects
with its God source. I am calling for the world plan to come forth
now and touch the responsive hearts of mankind. Unity must prevail
and every false human control be reversed, for only in this manner
is the victory of light assured."

"I AM certain that the media of true friendship need not
expose the individual, who offers his loving attention, to the
repulse of cruel and egocentric individuals who will spurn the
proffered offering as a method of bolstering a sagging ego. But
if such exposure occurs, it need not be a drag upon the energies
and feelings as long as individuals are aware of the treachery
of the carnal mind, without personalizing its vibrations. Keep
yourself free as you offer your friendship by calling unto the
Friend of all friends, God, to seal your offer of friendly assistance
in the loving Protection of His own Great Heart Flame of Cosmic
Friendship.
"Needless to say, spiritual friendship
can be above all human idiosyncrasies and idolatry; and it is
then spiritual indeed. Harmony, natural appreciation, study of
the Great Cosmic Law, mutual prayer pacts, and service rendered
jointly to others are invaluable in expanding the Light within
the Souls of men. Facing the problems of the world together is
often easier than going it alone.
"Therefore, I AM strongly advocating that Our chelas take
'under their wings' one or more individuals with whom they can
Journey along the road that leads to their mutual Freedom. The
only danger here lies in 'cliques' whereby competition and false
protection is exercised, contrary to the Law of Love and playing
one spiritual team against another. Each inter-group relationship
should be based on Ascended Master Friendship which always serves
first for the good of all and then the group, lastly for the personal
self.
" . . . This true friendship, like any
endeavor, must be nourished by some attention, planted, watered,
cared for and harvested. Every possible embellishment is permissible
as long as the Great Law of Love and kindness is satisfied and the
words, 'Thou shalt love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, and
with all thy soul, and with all thy mind, and with all thy strength
. . . and thou shall love thy neighbor as thyself,' are remembered."

"Know, then, that the spirit of Christ-Discernment must be
sought apart from any outer loyalties or opinions no matter how
long you may have sustained them. You must guard both purse and
person against the inroads of those who would establish, at the
expense of absolute Virtue, a tower to reach unto Heaven, which
is not anchored in the bedrock of world Good Will and the gentle
entreaty of Our Lord The Maha Chohan Who ever admonishes:
"The Holy Spirit shall draw the devotees
of all nations and creeds into such compliance with the Divine
Will that the very shell of the whole world shall be saturated
with the Light that is within it. The magnitude of that Light
is best expanded, then, through Harmony and Understanding, not
by a sense of struggle or competition among people seeking to
serve the greater Light, but by the Holy Perceptions that recognize
in the EQUAL CREATION the need for individual acceptance of each
one's own GOD-GIVEN PERFECTION.
"In line with the policies We have
established, to stand guard always upon the wall of the Lord,
We say, let all who run and read remember to bear the UNITY OF
TRUTH while understanding the subtlety of error. The Chelas of
God are like Vines having very tender grapes, and We would not
have any bruised by errors, whether stemming from the folly of
avarice or the banality of ignorance."

"From earliest infancy upon this planet Earth, mankind's
training occurs through the avenue of the five physical senses
whereby there is builded into the consciousness almost complete
dependence upon outer sources for the attainment of wisdom. The
comparatively few have the misunderstood gift of genius, and yet
God did create all men equal in the sense that all have equal
opportunity to attain the crown of Life and then, with that attainment,
to go onward into infinite excellence. In the spiritual realm
there is never any competition, for the very nature of attainment
itself precludes the very possibility of competition.
" . . . Love itself is the great master
key, but love is a word bandied about by many but understood only
by the few. Men refer to selfish love and unselfish love yet I ask
you, can Love be selfish?
"Yet it is not
the part of wisdom to give one's self away where nothing in return
can be brought about as the result of this giving. God himself,
as revealed by Christ in the parable of the talents, indicated
the intent of the Deity to derive from the stewardship of creation
the fruit of the talents he has given to man. The impediments
of karma, or the law of cause and effect, have withheld from mankind
for generations their soul freedom as well as their escape from
immersement in ceaseless karmic rounds."

"The frequent outbursts in clashes among various groups of
people quite naturally take their toll in human affairs producing
seeds of distrust, unhappiness, and doubt, which in turn take
many forms. Nowhere is this more evident than in the religious
field, where through the centuries mankind have actually perpetrated
all manners of injustice in the name of God. Those who should
have stood shoulder to shoulder with one another in the support
of cherished ideals have, either in the realm of human personality
or doctrine, stood at sword's point.
"Mindful, then, of the great weakness of
the human ego and its desire to achieve recognition for accomplishment,
it is self-evident that competition which seeks to harm or disturb
another part
of life in an unjust manner is a karma-making action which returns
a great deal of unhappiness amplified to the one sending it out.
"I raise these concepts here in order
to bring about a greater recognition of the interplay of subtle
forces in the atmosphere which I discussed in my last release.
For religious thought and political thought functioning in these
aforementioned grids and forcefields-joined by the numerous frustrations
and feelings of inadequacy which take their toll upon mankind—do
result in an action of human discord which is almost suffocating
to the cause of progress.
"You may ponder as to what occurs when a number of these
forcefields do themselves begin to set up a mere mechanical clash
in the sense that the electronic rate of vibration causes them
to impinge upon one another. The end result is usually mass confusion,
for many sensitive people do pick up the electronic release which,
like subtly invisible atomic radiation, does have its effect upon
those in proximity to it."

"As the population of the planet continues to increase and
the demands upon nature mount upward with each increase, men must
come to a platform of harmony and consonance, where the wheel
of the world will be turned by the law of the One and the law
of love among all nations and all people, so that the universal
problems of mankind will be resolved with greater speed as the
spirit of vain competition is stilled, and the spirit of infinite
cooperation replaces the mortal sense that seeks to retard the
progress of others as a means of accelerating one's own."

"We condemn not those who do not yet understand the mystery
of the Divine, who hide behind the facade of agnosticism, who
say, 'to be or not to be,' thus questioning their own identity
and all reality in their unfirm worlds and questing consciousness.
We condemn not the atheists who, in denying the existence of God,
deny their own existence. We spread abroad the raiment of his
garment, we expand the mantle of light upon the planet in song,
in legend, and in intangible feelings that flow forth from light
sources through every ascended master and angelic being.
"We seek to penetrate the veil of illusion,
the sophistry of faint worldly wit and the mockings of self-condemnation
which create feelings of inferiority in myriad individuals. We
seek to draw aside the veil from every eye, from every consciousness,
and to let each mind receive the floodlighting of divine beauty.
For in reality, O mankind, all beauty is divine, and the Beautiful
is another name for the Divine, whose symmetry and form are a
matrix to draw man's thoughts upward.
"And what of art forms created not out
of reverence for the Creator but in competition, whose ugliness
would distort the divine design and draw men by the lure of worldly
prize into a competitive cult? What of those art forms and what
of the individuals influenced by them? Do not the Karmic Lords keep
the record of each man's defection from justice and truth, of each
man's sale of his soul for the sake of mortal opinion? Would it
not be well, then, for all the world to seek to be constructors
of the higher spirals, gathering as workmen in the divine temple
to make each stairstep safe for the feet of succeeding generations
to tread ever upward on the path that leads to God?
" . . . Men under the inspiration of higher law can see the
hand of God in all nature and in themselves; but when they are caught
in the net of personal delusion, they fail-because of the involvement
of mind and feeling in dire confusion—to recognize and see
that life is one. What harms one harms all. What raises one raises
all; and thus by a sense of life mission, drawn around the flame
of Self, coalescing as higher purpose, men do manifest a greater
measure of adroitness in the execution of manifest beauty to the
world."

"We urge an upward gaze to the Source of Life who is the
sustaining strength of every cosmic emissary, of every ascended
master, and every sun presence of immortal awareness. Thus will
the strength, garnered from the untrammeled heights of beauty
and cosmic purpose, be activated in the world of form. There is
no solution to man's problems equal to the healing energies of
heaven, and, precious ones, you cannot receive those energies
from any outer sources by study, ambition, or entanglement in
the psychic realm of blatant phenomena.
" . . . The still small voice is the voice of victory. And
though it be but a whisper in the inner ecesses of being, saying
silently, firmly, determinedly,"I AM God's son, To do his
will I AM come!"
"it is enough to give the fervor
which the moment requires, albeit we pray that men who seek the
spiritual life will honor humility and feel no worldly sense of
competition, rather paying homage to those ideals that will mean
freedom to every man."

"Gracious ones, persevere! And you shall win! The challenge
to every chela, every would-be initiate, to all who would come
under our disciplines is given herewith. Persevere! And you shall
win!
"The thought of merger with the Divine
ought to be a blessed goal wherein all can shine. Competition
and the vain spirit of egocentricity have no place in our disciplines;
for one must work unswervingly for a purpose and devote oneself
to the fulfillment of that purpose.
"The power to see the Promised Land
vouchsafed of old to Moses as he came out of Egyptian bondage
is one which to modern-day men and women must report the challenges
of the times and make them aware of the need to persevere-to persevere
in all that is of the past so that the untransmuted and banal
aspects thereof may become vanquished in the name of victory;
to persevere in the present hour when the drabness of appearances
and the seeming slowness of pace does not temper the zeal of the
fire of the heart; to persevere in the future by a glorious hope
that refuses to leave the screen of the mind; to persevere at
all times and to win.
" . . . If you could see at inner levels, as we do, the power
of holy example as it was made known to The Karmic Board where
individuals surmounted most frightful circumstances to become
victors, you would recognize that often, by comparison measurement,
your own struggles are
but those of an ant seeking to reach a nearby anthill."

"There is some subtle inward hope that has kept spiritually
seeking people together down through the centuries. They have
gathered in grottoes and caves, the catacombs of Rome.
They have been thrown to the lions literally and torn limb from
limb. Atrocities and cruelties have been practiced against them.
In modern-day society, even in the name of Christ, various religious
groups all bearing the name Christian have shattered one another
with feelings of enmity and competition. And the world has not
expressed the Christ-love that the Master demonstrated.
"None of us today can lift up our
head and say, I have not been a part of that. None of us can say,
whether we actually entered into the doing of these deeds or not,
that we have not perhaps at some time or other consented to it,
either by our silence or by an inward rejoicing that something
happened to someone or something that we did not approve of."

"It is unnatural for men to oppose one another by drawing
forth energy and then blindly misqualifying that Light with the
shadow of competition and ego. In a Universe guided wholly by
the Law of Love there is no tug of war between opposing forces,
but always the sweet implementation of Cosmic Assistance whereby
the required number of Beings rush in to lift
the heaviest load.
"Truly the words 'My burden is Light'
have meaning in the Kingdom of Heaven. For therein may be found
the wondrous out-working of Immortal Perfection. A portion of
God's Perfection floods over into the consciousness of the world
today as of old. Regardless of the impediments which are strewn
upon the pathway of mankind through misunderstanding and neglect,
the world is blessed with an expanded outpouring of Love-both
from on High and from many humble hearts below."

"The purpose of meditation, I repeat, is that God above may
manifest in man below-as above, so below.
"If it is truly God who manifests below,
there will be no room in your being for the sin of self-seeking,
the desire for achievement, recognition, or competition with others
among men. You will know that the strength of divine unity in
the body of God upon earth is the requirement of the hour; and
you will know by their fruits that those who claim to be great
teachers, great leaders, great souls, gurus, and ministers of
righteousness—who foster the sin of separation from mankind,
who exalt themselves into positions of fame and fortune-are often
in danger of having their works burned by the great transmuting
fires of the law.
"Make no unnecessary karma in your
meditations, but learn the path of humility which will make you
great because you already are. This is the greatness that you
share with every son of God
on earth and in the universe. It is the greatness of the light
itself which belongs to all. It does not weaken your joint-heirship
with the Christ to share it with the mass of illumined believers.
It can only strengthen it; for each son of God who attains his
perfect reunion with God and his manifestation of God, fulfilling
the command 'Be ye therefore perfect, even as your Father which
is in heaven is perfect,' is also enriching the borders of God's
kingdom upon the planet."

|
"The judgments of men are not impartial, for they are incomplete.
They are based not upon clear seeing, but often upon the competitive
mind, emphasizing the struggles between peoples and personalities
rather than that self-competition which ever seeks to reach higher
in the way of genuine spiritual service and attainment.
"The time of the threshing floor
is at hand. More and more, the Karmic Lords are finding it necessary,
even when tempering their judgments by mercy, to execute those
judgments upon
the ungodly which return to them their actions originating in
the human consciousness that have denied mercy both to themselves
and to others. These have entered into the marts of deceit, adding
to the confusion of the world and holding back temporarily the
blessed elements of Truth by which one day all shall be known
even as they are known.
" . . . When I say that it is a great misfortune that individuals
seem willing to allow the cutting-up of the Whole into separate
manifestations pitted against one another, it is to show that
the way of the spoiler is a snare to the soul. How unfortunate
it is that individuals can come to a place in their judgments
and condemnations of others where they can justify such thoughts
and feelings. They seem unwilling to allow even for ordinary dialogue
between themselves and that unfortunate individual whom they have
now chosen as their enemy."

"The seemingly innocent practice of holding wrong concepts
about others, of judging others, of assessing their level of attainment
or possibility is all a part of vain competition and results in
grave misunderstandings. You see, when the hidden hungers of the
soul for advancement remain unsatisfied, they sometimes burst
out as unbalanced energy which takes the form of gossip and the
downgrading of others as a substitute for inner God-security.
" . . . It is most unfortunate that this
battle of the human psyche is carried over into the science of
religion, for men expect perfection in their religion and its
followers. Herein lies the very subtle activities of the brothers
of the shadow who seek to impugn the pure in heart by drawing
down the pall of ignorance, confusion, and questioning about the
person and character of another.
"Some of this is like taking out old photo
albums and prints reflecting earlier immaturities and showing
these 'snapshots' or 'snap judgments' to others and saying, 'See
how they really are!' While the great divine opportunity called
life moves onward, men attempt to methodically yet mechanically
thwart the progress of another soul and, by the law of returning
karma, do but hinder their own progress.
" . . . Precious ones, your ascension
is not always achieved in one dramatic moment wherein
the form is transfigured and you rise into the arms of God. Attainment
is often a matter of the conscious practice of daily entering
into the heart of the Father and thinking his thoughts, dreaming
his dreams of benevolence, partaking of his life and breaking
the bread of his holy covenant with your brethren so that their
hearts may also burn within them as the disciples experienced
upon the way to Emmaus."

"How tragic it is that men spend lifetime after lifetime
playing their competitive games, deriving temporary satisfaction
in topping one another's achievements instead of simply enjoying
the abundant Life and the limitless sense that wells up from within
the childlike heart—the sense that comes from the natural
expression of the thoughts of God that unfold within the mind
attuned to the Infinite.
"Just as a flower joyously opens its petals
according to its own preordained pattern, so man can release the
energies of his consciousness into the blueprint of identity that
marks the perfect concept and the patterned destiny—his
very own from the beginning. Just as the etheric pattern of the
flower is there-an electrical forcefield surrounding the bud with
an aura of expectancy—so the design God has willed for each
manifestation of Himself surrounds the evolving monad as a cocoon
of Light, containing within itself all that man requires to fulfill
his divine plan.
"As the flower unfolds, it follows
the outline of the pattern which Nature has lovingly pressed upon
its cellular structure. No resistance to the cosmic flow is here,
but movement toward reunion with the Whole and a momentum of aeons,
of Life evolving Life, begetting beauty and expanding the
universal order. Thus Nature teaches man the Way; and if he would
follow, his life, too, would be the outpicturing on earth of heaven's
immortal loveliness."

"Beloved ones, do not so easily give to the child the answer,
for the answer is not important. It is the ritual of seeking and
finding in all things—having to muster the will, having
to have enough desire in the attainment of the prize to pursue.
Thus, competition in life, in sports and games is useful to a
point. For the desire to excel is truly the excellence of the
first ray. And that excelling, beloved, is fired by love for the
prize. And the prize becomes more precious and more precious as
sights are elevated. And soon the prizes of this world no longer
satisfy.
"It is good to win the medals and the cups.
It is good to show the point of winning and victory only to realize
that having thus conquered, one need not conquer again but one
is ready for spiritual heights. And one knows that with effort
and commeasurement and the inner sensing of the nearness of the
stars one can achieve the goal of immortality.
"Thus, it is well to understand in training
oneself or one's child not to make the hurdle too great or too
little but to instill enough challenge that demands enough effort
that in striving the soul will exceed its former position and
discover a new unboundedness, a new penetration of the larger
Self.
"Thus explore. Thus discover. Thus be creative.
Do not rest on yesterday's victories; they are not equal to the
next challenge.
"Thus, I begin to you my counsel of the new year with a single
lesson from Maitreya's school on goal-fittedness. Fit yourselves
well for the good use and exercise of the four lower bodies, the
skills, potentials and talents that you have, always knowing that
you are building parallel lines of force with an inner summoning
and an inner adventure of the spirit that takes place beyond the
body.
" . . . Detail, then, is the will
of God-a thousand-petaled blue lotus, the sunflower herself and
the many seeds thereof. The will of God is fastidious and detailed.
It is [you have] fourteen months to master a skill, a trade, a
profession, to bring to the point of excellence that which you
would love most to lay upon the altar of God- that achievement,
that ability which you know will enable us through you to build
the house of God, to bring light to many a house now in darkness,
to deliver souls of lifelong addictions. And these addictions
go on lifetime after lifetime."

"Beloved, the categorizing of people is so natural to the
carnal mind that it is almost impossible to erase its stain. The
cast of the mind that assesses each passerby must needs be to
elevate one’s own human ego.
"For a moment now, imagine yourself as an
egoless being. Imagine yourself not being concerned about what
others think of you, having no thoughts or opinions of others
but only the freedom to acknowledge the Light, to bow to the Atman
within and to treasure a soul to whom God has given the vessel
of body and mind.
"That soul must be very special and very
important to God—in fact, of ultimate importance. For why
should the God of very gods sponsor a soul if that soul has no
chance, no something within that can spring forth as a flower,
even as a shoot pushes up through the crusty earth?
"O blessed ones, God has so valued each
one that to each one he has given the very image of himself, the
I AM Presence, the Holy Christ Self, in whose image you are made.
Find the jewel, find the jewel. Find the Sangha, find the Buddha,
find the Dharma, all locked within the inner divine spark.
"Enjoy, then, the peace of noncompetition,
of not engaging in mental competition with others whom you think
are more or less advanced than you are. What a pity that so many
spend so much energy in defending their relative position in the
social strata of life! Would you not agree, beloved ones?
[Congregation responds: 'Yes.']
"We do not often come apart to examine our
thoughts and feelings—our faulty thoughts, our faulty feelings.
But this is the hour to do so. It is so liberating.
"Think of the blessed ones of the East.
Think of Lao Tzu, Confucius, the golden emperor and many, many
unnamed devotees of Light and bodhisattvas robed in their saffron
robes. Think of them, beloved, glorifying God in their members
and do follow after them. Do realize that the self-emptying is
the process whereby you are self-filled with the Real Self.
"The Buddhist teachings of the Dhyani Buddhas
are necessarily inner teachings of the inner five secret rays.
And thus we speak on these things, for these are the levels and
the depths that you must enter in order to be free of the binding
shackles of the human condition.
"Sages have taught these truths over many,
many centuries, and you may say, 'What is new, Ratnasambhava?'
What is new is that I am a Buddha and I am speaking through a
Messenger, and therefore you have the direct light from my heart
to quicken and make alive the precepts you may have read again
and again.
"I release streams of light, white and blue
and yellow and rose and green. I release streams of light so that
there may be the alchemy of change for you in my words, which
are not words alone but cups of light empowered—yes,
empowered—to turn you around
and set you on the path of overcoming and to the realization of
your own seed of Buddhahood unfolding.
"This is the meaning and purpose of a dictation—not
always to reveal some grand new fact of the universe but to empower
you to employ and internalize the simple truths of being rather
than merely hear about them.
"For as I receive you, so I place my Presence
over you and in your heart. And I come for the washing of the
waters by the Word. I come for the washing of the waters by the
Divine Mother.
" . . . I call for the crystallization of
light. I call for the melting of the elements that they might
be poured into new vessels, new molds. I come to restore you to
the higher planes of being whence you descended to this world.
I come to take from you all self-criticism, self-deprecation.
I come to deliver you of sorrow, of aches and pains of the heart
regarding loved ones.
"These are not mere words, for in these
words you discover what is my mission here and why I come with
such profound love for each one of you. For you have had your
struggles, each and every one, in the past year and I have been
there with my givingness of compassion and understanding. And
you have found that understanding in your God, in the friend,
in the counsellor, in the professional who is able to help you
sort out the elements of being.
"I say, beloved, as you have heard before,
it is the sense of struggle that makes the struggle. Let us cease
the struggling and remember how easy it is to transmute all levels
of struggle by the violet flame, how easy it is to turn one’s
back on Darkness and to face the Light of the Divine Mother.
"We, then, come for the consolation of all
souls of Light throughout the Spirit-Matter universes. We are
everywhere in these universes. And therefore, my word, registered
through the vocal cords of one in embodiment, enables all those
at this level of consciousness anywhere on all worlds whatsoever
to receive the same light, the piercing rays of light, of star
fire, of energy in the core of vast celestial bodies that you
have not seen but only know are there beyond the Great Beyond.
"There is an interconnection of all Life.
And therefore, whenever those who are the immortal ones speak
through an embodied soul at this level, there is the transmission
of that word to all lifestreams who are similarly abiding in this
band of energy, which is your time and space and your compartment
to work out your reason for being—your dharma as well as
your karma.
"Know this, then—that another function
of having a Messenger and dictations is the unification by the
antahkarana, the great web of light, of all souls of a similar
evolution. And as the antahkarana quivers at the hand of the great
Master Artist of life, there is a stepping up, a tuning of the
sound that is heard from the quivering of the antahkarana. And
as you are able to transcend certain lower elements, you find
yourself rising to new levels of that web of life and to attunement
with the higher sound. This is the great mystery of being—that
you also, though considering yourself finite, are with us 'everywhere
in the consciousness of God.'
"So be still for a moment and resolve with
inner resolution that this year will not be a year when you are
tossed and tumbled by descending personal and world karma, that
this will not be a year when you miss your moments, miss your
cues, are not here and there and the next place where you need
to be in consciousness and in time to proceed with the next challenge
that your mentors of the Spirit would give you.
"Do not be idle but remember, the angels
of the dawn come to assist you to unburden yourself of your daily
karma. Meditate with them, walk with them, sing with them. Give
your calls to the violet flame. Give yourself a boost by delivering
yourself, yes, divesting yourself of the burdens of the day, before
they come upon you.
"So, in the sweetness and the gentleness
of all Buddhas out of all octaves, I seal you in the flame of
compassion and charity, remembering the words of the precious
Nada, 'I give you my love, for all else I have already given away.'
"Let this be your motto, beloved. Do not
hold your hand closed tightly to hold on to your possessions,
but open your hand and your heart and give and give and give.
And the Light shall increase in your heart with each gift you
give to another whose paucity of consciousness perceives a need
for material things whereas you need not have them in such abundance
or duplication.
"Value the things of the Spirit. Continue
to give. For I tell you a secret: Giving is what makes the threefold
flame flower of the heart grow and grow and grow. The more you
give, the more the Light does flow.
"And I will tell all of you who seek this
and that and the next recourse for healing that your healing is
in the Christ-flame and in the seed of the Buddha within. Thus
in love discover that all ailments are healed because you bring
all things—by the threefold flame that you have expanded—into
the balance of the five elements and the Five Dhyani Buddhas.
"Now picture us, one perched on each of
your shoulders, one in the heart, one above the head and one beneath
the feet.
"We are also your guardian-angel Buddhas."

"As he enters into the realization of his creative potential,
man must develop the sense of limitless being, the sense of the
abundant Life. He must replace the treacherous spirit of competition,
which seized the heart of Cain and still dominates the mass consciousness,
with the all-pervading sense of the abundant Love.
"Love has created him; he is made in the
image of Love. Love will sustain him; Love will guide him every
step of the way; Love will produce in him the regeneration of
the Christ; and all of Heaven will bow to the Light within him
because he has enthroned the Christ within his heart
and developed an inner rapport with the universal Presence of
Love.
"The marvelous sense of freedom that
comes to the individual when he begins to realize that he can
create, that he is destined to be a co-creator with God, and that
he is already creating, whether he works in darkness or in Light,
begets not only a feeling of responsibility to all of Cosmos and
to one's fellowman but also the deep desire to successfully meet
the challenges of that responsibility."

"In this hope of a new world, I appeal to the men and women
of all religions upon earth to live according to the principle
of love and according to the higher teachings, to cease their
condemnations of one another, to let go of the sense of struggle,
and to shun cutthroat competition that breeds gossip and the hypocrisy
of psychological tricks.
"Learn to live honestly with thy God, and
so shall you live honestly with your fellowmen. You will find
that the reverse is also true. From the very beginning, all of
the religions which have been sponsored by hierarchy have had
as their central theme the ennoblement of man, the exaltation
of his consciousness, the purification of the thoughts and motives
of his world, and the final perfectionment of the individual as
he is fitted for higher things in the many mansions of our Father.
If it were not so I would have told you. But I have often told
you, and you have often been told by life.
" . . . When there is constant bickering
among the various factions of the so-called body of God upon earth,
when men do not prune themselves of gossip and destructive releases
of thought and feeling, when they seek human control of the lives
of others through what is actually witchcraft, black magic, and
psychological treachery-masquerading as innocence while imputing
guilt to the innocent-they themselves will surely come to judgment;
yet their judgment will not produce the miracle of the new heaven
and the new earth." |
