"As recently as 1950 restrictions on the adoration of angels were made: Pope Pius XII, in his August 12th encyclical Human Genesis, maintained that only the three names that occur in the Bible—Michael, Gabriel, and Raphael—may be used. Daily prayer to Michael was eliminated from end of Mass in 1964.

"Pope Leo XIII (1810-1903) received a vision during which he heard a conversation between Satan and Jesus. In the vision Jesus gave Satan 75 years to destroy the Church. If Satan did not accomplish his purpose during that time, he would suffer crushing and humiliating defeat. Seeing the great role Michael was to play, Pope Leo composed this prayer to him and ordered it to be recited daily after low mass in all churches throughout the world:

"Saint Michael the Archangel, defend us in battle, be our protection against the wickedness and snares of the devil; may God rebuke him, we humbly pray; and do thou, O Prince of the heavenly host, by the power of God, thrust into hell Satan and all evil spirits who wander through the world for the ruin of souls. Amen."

"Until 1964 this remained a devotional prayer to be said at the conclusion of Mass. When the Vatican Council II (1962-1965) revised the liturgy, it eliminated all prayers which did not have specific reference to the Eucharist or the communion of Christ with his disciples, including this prayer. Today in the Catholic Church, there is no daily prayer given to Archangel Michael."

This is what is meant by the raising of the Kundalini. If you squander the sacred fire, you will not have the strength to fulfill your mission as you see the Messenger fulfilling hers.
